Welcome to my website for enthusiasts of Stinson Aircraft. The website will contain a growing collection of information and links for pilots, owners, and restorers of these fine classic airplanes.

Stinson NC6197M,  Bar Harbor, Maine, August 21, 1949

This is my Stinson that is currently under restoration. It is a 1948 "Flying Station Wagon", model 108-3, Registration NC6197M, Serial 108-4197. For more information on my project, click on the photo or follow the links below.

In addition to my restoration activities, I also developed and maintain an extensive database of Stinson ownership information, the "World Stinson Database" (updated 1/6/2002), now available here at Hangar9Aeroworks.com.  The purpose of the database is to facilitate networking among Stinson owners.  Please help me to keep the database current by e-mailing changes in ownership, address, telephone, or e-mail address to me.  If you've recently purchased or sold a Stinson, be sure to let me know so I can update the database.

I will be adding more information of interest to Stinson enthusiasts as I develop this website. In the meantime, I'd enjoy hearing from anyone who shares an interest in Stinson aircraft.  I especially welcome comments about corrections that are needed, whether they be in content or style. E-mail me at sstarkey@erols.com.
